This incredible belt features 12 inlaid panels of birds, with each panel hand titled on the reverse. The birds include: Ruby throated hummingbird, eastern bluebird, indigo bunting, bald eagle, wild turkey, mallard, red tailed hawk, American goldfinch, belted kingfisher, ringnecked pheasant, Bluejay, and cardinal. Each panel is signed.
The belt measures approximately 35” long, with a hook closure, and weighs approximately 155 grams. Each panel measures approximately 1” x 1.5”.
The belt is inlaid with coral, turquoise, mother-of-pearl, gold lip shell, jet, lapis, and several other stones and shells.
The inlay is in good condition, with the only wear appearing to be in the enamel inlay of the branches. Please expect some overall wear commensurate with age and moderate overall patina.
